-About two weeks, we will tell you how!
Can i exercise?
-It is best to hold off on exercising for the first few days after a new tattoo for a couple of reasons. The first being gyms are hosts for bacteria, your new tattoo is an open wound and you want to take precautions not expose it to bacteria. Two, you want to avoid getting your new tattoo sweaty, so things like hot yoga for example are not great for your new tattoo.
TATtOO AFTER CARE
-Remove bandage after 2-5 hours, Wash your new tattoo with fragrance free soap and warm water.
Pat tattoo dry with clean towel. It is important to keep your tattoo clean, washing once or twice a day for the first few days.
-Apply a small amount of fragrance free lotion to your new tattoo once or twice a day (i.e. Lubriderm, Eucerin, Aveeno or Aquaphor). Do not over apply, this will cause you tattoo to weep and take much longer to heal. Your skin needs to breath don't suffocate it with lotion :-P
-Your new tattoo will scab and peel, this is totally normal. Some people may experience slight bruising as well.
-Do not scratch or pick your tattoo! This can cause scaring and pigment loss.
-Keep your new tattoo out of the sun for at least 2 weeks, NO swimming, saunas, or soaking in the tub for 2 weeks.
-Showering is okay!
